Allied Health professionals and will award
participants 8-10 contact hours from the
Arizona Nurses Association pending approval.
All education is held on board ship, during
two sea days.

Classroom Workshop Session (Sea Day 1),
the educator will be able to:
- 1. Use Active Learning strategies in the classroom
- 2. Identify selective Cooperative Learning techniques
- 3. Utilize Cooperative Learning strategies for rich learning
- 4. Gain an awareness of theories related to cooperative learning, multiple intelligence, and learner personality
- 5. Utilize melodies to stimulate learning
6. Develop simple, and fast games to stimulate concept retention
By the end of the Reach for the Stars - CNE Certification Preparation for Nurse Educators Workshop Session (Sea Day 2), the educator will be able to:
- 1. Understand the NLN test plan for the Certified Nurse Educator Exam
- 2. Develop a strategy to study for the exam
- 3. Utilize selected test taking strategies for success
- 4. Dissect a test question to increase the chance for success
- 5. Identify helpful resources for the exam
